fashion forward, enduring style

FASHION FRIDAY

Jerome Dahan blazed the denim trail having worked for various companies like Guess Jeans and Seven For All Mankind. Not finding home with these brands, Jerome branched out to start his own…Citizens of Humanity. We’re sure happy he did!

Denim has become such an important staple in everyone’s wardrobe. It has evolved to be so much more than just your classic pair of blue jeans. Although Citizens of Humanity does have some great classics, we’re big fans of the fashion items in the collection. We love the brand so much, we even have Citizens of Humanity for men!

This season we especially love the floral print mid-rise, the full maxi skirt, the easy denim dress, and the coloured jeans. As you know from last week’s email, denim can do it all — day and night, dressy and casual.

Rookie On The Rack!

This season we welcome New York based collection Yoana Baraschi to Saffron Road. The colourfully coordinated and perfect prints caught our eye while at the Fashion Coterie last September.  We love her easy pack and go, wear everywhere dresses!

We Have A Winner!

David Bradstock is the lucky winner of the Liviana Conti bag from our April promotion.  Congratulations!

FASHION FRIDAY

This Friday, we love Love Heals!  We love that it’s a family run business. We love that they give to charity. Most of all, we love their stunning jewellery!

We love how the chunky stones, beautiful beads, and fabulous charms mix perfectly together. We love that you can wear the jewellery with anything—be it the finishing touch to a beautiful dress, or the accessory that makes your denim look complete.

You don’t need to justify your purchase, but we love the feel good feeling that goes with love heals—the planting of 10 trees with the purchase of any item from their collection, all of which are made from ethically sourced materials.

We also love how versatile many of the pieces can be; a long necklace can be doubled to make a shorter one, or wrapped around your wrist for a multi-strand bracelet.

In the event that you don’t find something you love, you can make your own Love Heals jewellery with their “be creative” collection. It’s the same great items, just put together by you!
